The Common Admission Test (CAT) is an all-India test conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) as an entrance exam for the management programmes of its all business schools.The results of CAT 2009 will be available from Febraury 28th 2010 on the cat website.

CAT 2009 Exam Results Updates

The Common Admission Test (CAT) is an all-India test conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) as an entrance exam for the management programmes of its seven business schools.

The results of CAT 2009 will not be announced on 22 nd January 2010 as stated earlier and it will announced in the third week of Febraury 2010. The scores can be accessed by keying in the test registration number and either the date of birth (preferred) or the cat application number.



CAT-takers can also access their CAT-2009 scores by using SMS facility of mobile phones when the results are announced. Watch this space for more updates about Cat Exam results specially from Hyderabad, India

IPL - 2 : Cricket updates, Scores , Action , & Entertainment

Indian premier league (IPL) 2 is back , as usual all the people around the world are glued to their television set for live action from south african cities . IPL was shifted from India to south africa as its schedule was coinciding with general elections 2009. As a result people has to be satisfied watching cricket match live on tv rather than visiting the stadiums.

First match of IPL has seen many unexpected winners specially the royal challengers of bangalore defeating rajasthan royals . In other t20 cricket match mumbai indians defeated chennai super kings . Other attraction of IPL cricket matches are the cheer leaders and they dance and cheer for every run or wicket gained by the their team . All these matches can be watched for live score and updates on Max channel from south africa . Those are not able to view the score of each T20 IPL matches can get the score popular websites like rediff and most of the IT sector companies have blocked such score publishing websites . Well still all sites cant be blocked , so start googling for new wesbites . 

IPL has also come game called as Indian fantasy league , where you can select your playing 11 from all the players available for IPL and each time your choosen player scores runs or takes wicket in the real cricket match you will be awarded points and the winner will get rewarded at the end of the season . More over many teams are fighting it out online too having exclusive websites and blogs to promote their respective teams. Team best at promotion and advertising is Kolkatta Knight Riders - KKR , Shahrukh khan being the centre of attraction .

Other league which was started by Zee called as Indian Cricket league - ICL  is the inspiration for Indian Premier league - IPL . Currently talks are being held at ICC for recognising the ICL also , we can hope that in near future we can see a contest between IPL and ICL . 

Well the team i m supporting is obviously DECCAN CHARGERS team from Hyderabad which is promoted by a local Hyderabadi newspaper . Even though Deccan chargers could not perform upto the expectations in the last season , a lot is being expected from them in this season . Specially after Adam Gilchrist is made the captian of Deccan Chargers cricket team , all players seems to be pumped up. First match of Deccan chargers is on 19 th april 2009 with Kolkatta Knight Riders starting at 07:30 PM IST .Well those have missed the live action can always watch IPL videos on IPL's website or youtube. GATE 2009 Results Announced

India's GATE exam results of the year 2009 are available from March 15, 2009 at 10:00 hours at GATE offices of IISc/IITs and it will also be available on the websites of IISc/IITs .As mentioned earlier GATE 2009 score is valid for one year from the date of announcement of the GATE 2009 results.

These results can be used to apply to all IIT's and other universities like osmania university from Hyderabad . More over all the GATE qualified canditates are paid a monthly scholarship .

CAT 2008 Results Announced

The Common Admission Test (CAT) is an all-India test conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) as an entrance exam for the management programmes of its seven business schools.

The results of CAT 2008 will be available from January 9th 2009 on the cat website. The scores can be accessed by keying in the test registration number and either the date of birth (preferred) or the cat application number.


CAT RESULTS by E-MAIL: Candidates who wish to get their results by e-mail should register themselves between October 24, 2008 and November 30, 2008 by sending an SMS to 57333 as follows: ?CAT registration number date of birth (ddmmyy) email id? Please note that only one e-mail id will be registered against a test registration number. Example:If TRno is 1234567 & DOB is 20-Feb-1986, then the msg format will be: CAT 1234567 200286 abc@rediffmail.com
