CBI Website Hacked

India's Central Bureau Of Investigations also known as CBI's website has been hacked by Pakistani hackers on Friday night by programmers identifying themselves as Pakistani Cyber Army.The homepage of CBI had a warning the Indian Cyber Army against hacking Pakistani websites.The CBI site which was supposed to be most secure website in India as it connected to command center of world police organisation - Interpol.

As a result the CBI website has been immediately shutdown and CBI authorities have started the introspection and methods to avoid any such future hackings.

Indian premier league (IPL) 2 is back , as usual all the people around the world are glued to their television set for live action from south african cities . IPL was shifted from India to south africa as its schedule was coinciding with general elections 2009. Other attraction of IPL cricket matches are the cheer leaders and they dance and cheer for every run or wicket gained by the their team . Even though Deccan chargers could not perform upto the expectations in the last season , a lot is being expected from them in this season . Specially after Adam Gilchrist is made the captian of Deccan Chargers cricket team , all players seems to be pumped up. First match of Deccan chargers is on 19 th april 2009 with Kolkatta Knight Riders starting at 07:30 PM IST .Well those have missed the live action can always watch IPL videos on IPL's website or youtube. GATE 2008 Results Announced

India's GATE exam results of the year 2008 will be available on March 15, 2008 at 10:00 hours at GATE offices of IISc/IITs and it will also be available on the websites of IISc/IITs .As mentioned earlier GATE 2008 score is valid for two years from the date of announcement of the GATE 2008 results.

GATE 2008 results will be announced on March 15, 2008 at 10:00 hours at GATE offices of IISc/IITs India . It will also be available on the websites of IISc/IITs With effect from GATE 2008, the GATE website will provide the GATE scores to both qualified and non-qualified candidates



GATE 2008 score is valid for two years from the date of announcement of the GATE 2008 results.

The scores can be accessed by keying in the test registration number and entering the date of birth or the cat application number. The IIMs that have short listed the candidate for group discussion and interviews will also be displayed . However, the details of the date and venue will be available by post as well as on the individual IIMs web sites after a couple of days.

The scores can also be obtained telephonically through the IVRS or by sending an SMS to 57333 as follows: 'CAT registration number date of birth (dd/mm/yy)' or 'CAT space registration number application number" Example: CAT 5370082 030482. All these will be available from 3 PM on the 8th of January 2008
