Inter 2nd year 2013 results - Manabadi.com & Others

The board of intermediate (Inter) education also known as BIE of Hyderabad , Andhra Pradesh, India will  announce results of intermediate (IPE)  second year on 26 April 2013 at 04:00 PM IST as per unconfirmed reports. Intermediate first year results we already announced on 22 April 2013 successfully by BIE. After the 2nd year results are announced students of Andhra Pradesh including Hyderabad will need to focus on Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) which is scheduled on 10 May 2013.

As usual we will try to provide the intermediate second (2nd) year results before than any one else. Alternatively results will be also available on AP government websites and Manabadi.com results websites. Also results will can be received through SMS in all major service providers.

GATE 2010 Results

India's GATE exam results of the year 2010 are available from March 15, 2010 at 10:00 hours at GATE offices of IISc/IITs and it will also be available on the websites of IISc/IITs. As mentioned earlier GATE 2010 score is valid for one year from the date of announcement of the GATE 2010 results.

CAT 2009 Exam Results Updates

The Common Admission Test (CAT) is an all-India test conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) as an entrance exam for the management programmes of its seven business schools.

The results of CAT 2009 will not be announced on 22 nd January 2010 as stated earlier and it will announced in the third week of Febraury 2010. The scores can be accessed by keying in the test registration number and either the date of birth (preferred) or the cat application number.

Test Duration and Pattern:

The duration of the test is 2 hours and 30 minutes including initial 15 minute tutorial. No breaks will be given during the test. The test consists of questions that evaluate a candidate’s quantitative, verbal, and logical & data interpretive abilities. Therefore, there are a total of three sections in the test. There will be about 60 to 70 questions in the test.

Tips & Tricks for Eamcet 2009:

IIM's CAT Exam

What is GATE ?

The acronym GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), is an All-India Examination conducted by the seven Indian Institutes of Technology and the Indian Institute of Science, Banglore, on behalf of the National Coordinating Board – GATE, Department of Education, Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Government of India.

What is the objective of GATE ?

The objective of GATE is to identify meritorious and motivated candidates for admission to Postgraduate Programs Engineering at the national level. Many Engineering Colleges/Institutes specify GATE as a mandatory qualification even for admission for Postgraduate Programs. It serves as a benchmark for normalization of the Undergraduate Engineering Education in the country.

Do the Postgraduate Institutions select the candidate based on the GATE score only?

Admission to postgraduate courses, with MHRD scholarship/assistantship, in Engineering/Technology/Architecture/Pharmacy at Colleges/Institutes/Universities in the country will be open only to those who qualify in GATE, But the candidates are required to find out the procedures of final selection and award of Scholarship/Assistantship from the institution to which they seek admission, because the importance of GATE score differs for different institutions.

What is the eligibility criteria for appearing the GATE ?

The following categories of candidates are eligible to appear for GATE

• Bachelor's degree holders in Engineering/Technology/Architecture/Pharmacy and those who are in the final or pre-final year of such programmes.
• Master's degree holders in any branch of Science/Mathematics/Statistics or equivalent and those who are in the final or pre-final year of such programmes. However, if the degree is in Master of Computer Applications, the candidates should have had courses in Mathematics at the Bachelor's/Master's level.
• Candidates in the second or higher year of the four- year integrated master's degree programme (Post-B.Sc.) in Engineering/Technology or in the third or higher year of five-year Integrated Master's or Dual Degree programme in Engineering/Technology.
• Candidates with Qualifications obtained through examination conducted by professional societies recognized by UPSE/ AICTE as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech. Those who have completed Section A or equivalent of such professional courses are also eligible.
