Cognizant Technology Solutions also known as CTS is conducting off campus recruitment drive for Freshers of the batch 2013 in the city of Hyderabad and other places through AMCAT.

Eligibility criteria for this recruitment drive :

• 2013 batch of B.E , M.Tech , M.E , B.E and MCA belonging to branches like CSE , IT , CSIT , ECE , EEE , EIE , E & E , Applied Electronics , Computers & Technology , software engineering , automobile engineering , mechanical and other circuit branches.
• Regular and full time 2013 passed out's only.
• More than 65 % from major states like Andhra Pradesh , Tamil Nadu , Karnataka and others and more than 60 % for other states.
• No standing arrears at the time of interview. 
• Recent provisional and consolidated certificates or semester wise mark sheet is compulsory.
• Only for Indian nationals. 

Compensation :

• Annual total compensation (ATC) during probation : 3,01,500 INR including annual target incentive of 20,000 INR .
• On successfull completion of probation period and clearing all the dovetail exams salary would be 3,35,000 INR per annum.

US Consulate @ Hyderabad starts VISA service

US consulate after much delay finally has started visa issuing services from 4 th March 2009 at Paigah Palace which located at Begumpet locality of Hyderabad , India . Interview appointments for all visas began from 4 th march 2009 according to the local news papers . And it is expected to process around 100 visas per day and gradually increasing to 400 visas per day. Currently these services will be only for the people from Andhra Pradesh.

According to unconfirmed reports maximum number of students who aspires to go to USA for further studies are from Andhra Pradesh. Moreover Hyderabad is turning out to be a major IT destination which has presence of many top US based companies like Microsoft , Yahoo , cognizant and others . Many of employees of these companies needs to visit frequently to US based on the requirements and starting of these consulate services is of much relief to them and are saved from travelling to Chennai for obtaining Visas .

Cognizant technology solutions expands in hyderabad

Cognizant Technology Solutions (CTS) Corporation , a leading provider of IT services, today announced plans to further expand its infrastructure in India . Through the expanded program, which includes the expenditure of over $200 million through the end of 2008 on land acquisition, facilities construction and furnishing in India with the addition of over three million square feet and capacity for over 30,000 new employees.

As part of this program, Cognizant plans to develop state-of-the-art techno-complexes and expand its infrastructure in five cities – Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Pune.
