Indian Judiciary
Few things which needs to be done with high priority are as follows:
- According to some reports many positions for judges are still unfilled , they need to be filled as soon as possible.
- Educate the people with regard tothe indian judiciary system.
- Strengthen the law and order , so that people will be scared to take law in their hand.
- Increase the quantum of punishment for serious crimes.
- Make anti corruption bureau more vigilant and give them extended rights.
- Set deadlines for each case to be resolved by the judges.
- Make judges and prosecutors accountable.
- Increase the usage of science and technology to more extend.
- Discourage out of court settlement where victim may do so as a result of pressure tactics.
- Reduce the number of holidays and vacations for judges and make it same as that of other government officials.
- In case of land dealings , make it mandatory to give a nominee to the land who will inherit after his death and any change in will needs to be registered in person.
- Moral Science should be a compulsory subject for all school kids, which shows them whats correct and whats incorrect.
Any more suggestions ?
