Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation often referred as GHMC , its election will be conducted on 23 rd November 2009 across all wards of Hyderabad and results will be declared within short duration.

- Congress Party lead by Rosaih
- Majlis Ittehadul Muslimeen - MIM lead by Asaduddin Owaisi
- Bharatiya Janata Party - BJP lead by top leaders of BJP
- Lok Satta Party - Lead by Jai Prakash Narayan
- CPI & other left parties
But Telangana Rashtriya Samhiti - TRS lead by KCR has decided not to contest elections and focus on revival of telangana agitation after these election and KCR will be going on hunger strike.
