Fuel prices have been decreased in Hyderabad and across India , after this decrease in the fuel prices, current price of petrol & Diesel on 1st April 2014 are :

Current price of Petrol now in city of Hyderabad & Secunderabad is 78.95 rupees.

Current price of Diesel now in city of Hyderabad & Secunderabad is 60.03 rupees.

Small relief before the 2014 general elections for the people of India , over the decrease in the prices of the petrol and no change in diesel prices and LPG prices .This is the rare decrease in petrol price hike after the introduction of Aadhar based subsidy system , in this system the consumer pays the amount at the time of delivery and gets the subsidized amount to the bank account directly.

Most of the cars and bikes owners seems to be unhappy over the increase in the prices of the fuel again. Also there has been increase in Liquid petroleum gas - LPG prices by more than 200 rupees. This is the steepest price hike after the introduction of Aadhar based subsidy system , in this system the consumer pays the amount at the time of delivery and gets the subsidized amount to the bank account directly.

Hyderabad: Fuel Price @ 01 April 2010

After the increase in the fuel prices, current price of fuels as on 1 st April 2010 are

Current price of petrol now in city of Hyderabad is 53.63 rupees

Current price of Diesel now in city of Hyderabad is 39.17 rupees

Reason for this increase in fuel price is due to adhering to the latest Euro IV norms. Hopefully we will see some marginal decrease in the emission levels in the city of Hyderabad after the usage of EURO IV standard fuels which is referred as Bharat Stage IV fuel in India. Major cause of pollution in the city of Hyderabad are the buses and autos. Its high time when the government should act on these autos and buses.

Hyderabad: Fuel Price @ 01 July 2009

After the increase in the fuel prices, current price of fuels as on 1 st July 2009 are

Current price of petrol now in city of Hyderabad is 50.00 rupees

Current price of Diesel now in city of Hyderabad is 36.07 rupees

But the question is was this fuel price increase necessary by the government of India when the sales taxes could have been reduced to save the common man from extra burden. Every indivual will say NO to fuel price increase except the goverment officials . Indian government should work out plan and get the cheap fuel from Iran as early as possible to reduce the fuel prices. Moreover the commercialization of natural resources from our seas should be banned and government should take over the resources and provide it at actual price .

Disadvantages of fuel price increase :
  1. Cost of local transportation will go up.
  2. Price of all the basics commodities will touch the roof.
  3. Rise in inflation.
  4. Discouraging people to setup new bussiness as the transportation costs will go up.
  5. Costlier electricty from generators in case of power failures.

Advantages of fuel price increase :
  1. Lesser fuel consumption.
  2. Lesser carbon foot print.
  3. Healthier atmosphere.
  4. Reduction in global warming.
  5. Proper utilisation of fuels and lesser wastage.

Hyderabad: Fuel Price @ 01 Feb 2009

After this reductions the price of fuel as on 1 st February 2009 are

Current price of petrol now in city of Hyderabad is 45.56 rupees

Current price of Diesel now in city of Hyderabad is 33.90 rupees

Finally government has announced another cut in the fuel prices after much deliberation , opposition parties term this reduction as just a political gimmick in order to attract people towards UPA government.

This has brought much relief to all the citizens of India , now every one expects prices of all basic commodities will be on downward slide . Now the common expects that government should reduce the sales tax and other taxes on the fuel prices , which will furhter reduce the burden of Aam Aadmi .

If government can't reduce the fuel prices further due to prices losses to the oil companies , should they atleast reduces the sales taxes and other taxes on fuel ?????

Current Fuel Price @ Hyderabad : 6 th December 2008

The government of India has decided to reduce the prices of pertrol and diesel effective from midnight of 6 th december 2008 . However the price of international of one barrel of petrol has dropped from 150 dollars to almost 50 dollars . This reduction seems to be very neglible when the citizens of India were expecting a price of almost 10 rupess per litre .

After this reductions the price of petrol from 6 th December 2008 will be

Current price of petrol now in city of Hyderabad is 51.10 rupees

Current price of Diesel now in city of Hyderabad is 36.08 rupees

Its being anticipated that the prices of all basic commodities will reduce slightly and there by helping the government in taming the inflation. Another point of concern is that government of india or state government of Andhra Pradesh has reduced the prices of kerosene nor LPG .

India Petrol / Diesel prices Hiked (5 june 2008)

The government of India has increased the prices of petrol by 5 rupees and that of diesel by 3 rupees a litre. The hike in the fuel prices will come into effect from 5 th June 2008.

Current fuel price in the city of Hyderabad, India on 26 th September 2008 :

Current price of petrol now in city of Hyderabad is 56.65 rupees

Current price of Diesel now in city of Hyderabad is
38.25 rupees

Moreover price of LPG has also increased by rupees 50 per cylinder, which will now 354.42 per cylinder . Customs duty on petrol and diesel cut by Re 1, from 7.5 per cent to 2.5 per cent and Customs duty on crude cut from 5 per cent to zero.

But the shocker is that Andhra Pradesh government levies 33 % VAT on petrol the highest in INDIA and 22.25 % Vat on diesel being second highest in the INDIA after Gujarat , which turns out to be around whopping 15 rupees (approx.) and 8 rupees (approx.) per each litre of PETROL and DIESEL respectively. Most of left governed states have already reduced taxes so that it can be viable for COMMON MAN .

Lets hope that this does not a spiral effect on inflation which is already sky rocketing .

Was increasing FUEL prices , THE RIGHT STEP ????????? Do post comments ............

Hyderabad: Petrol / Diesel and other Fuel price hike

The government increased the prices of petrol by 5 paisa and that of diesel by 4 paisa a litre. The hike in the fuel prices will come into effect from past few days but most of the people are unaware of this .

Current fuel price in the city of Hyderabad, India on 1st June 2008 :

Current price of petrol now in city of Hyderabad is 51.10 rupees

Current price of Diesel now in city of Hyderabad is 34.98 rupees

More over due soaring oil prices in international market petrol and diesel prices are expected to rise soon again. Well but most ordinary citizens are unaware is that current price includes whopping tax amount which goes directly to the Indian government. I wish Indian government can reduce their profits and help the people rather than increasing the prices.

Well increase in fuel price has one advantage , well people will think twice before wasting fuel there by reducing vehicular congestions on roads of india as well reduce the noise and air pollution.

But the most dangerous consequences ( disadvantage ) of increasing the fuel price will lead higher inflation rate , thereby increasing the rates of all basic commodities too .

Well based on the current scenario rise in fuel prices is well on cards of Indian government as early by 5th June 2008
