AIEEE acronym stands for All India Engineering / Architecture Entrance Examination which is conducted by central board of secondary education, India . All the students opting for degree courses in Engineering and architecture would be required to undertake this test . 

AIEEE examination details :

• Medium : English / Hindi 
• Eligibility : 10 + 2 (Intermediate)
• Cost of Application form : 450 rupess under general category

• Sale of application form starts from : 5 th december 2008 
• Last Date for receipt of complete applications in CBSE : 10 th January 2009
• Date of Examination : 26 th April 2009 (Sunday)

Scheme of Examination : Entrance examination would consist of two papers 

• 1st paper consisting of three parts of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of equal weightage with objective type questions for BE/B.Tech courses. 
  
• 2nd paper consisting of Mathematics,Aptitude Test and Drawing for B. Architecture and B. Planning.

GATE 2009 Examination Details

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering which is also known as GATE is an all-India competitive examination administered and conducted in eight zones across the country by the GATE Committee comprising faculty from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and seven Indian Institutes of Technology on behalf of the National Coordinating Board - GATE, Department of Education, Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Government of India.
