IPL 3 Winners : Chennai Super Kings
Indian Premier League - IPL 3 after more than a month is finally over and the winners for IPL -3 are Chennai Super Kings by 22 runs . Splendid performance from the entire team proved very vital for Chennai Super Kings win over Mumbai Indians. To be most blamed is the foolishness of Mumbai Indians to keep Pollard away from the strike untill the last three overs. I strongly believe Mumbai Indians lost to due to bad judgement and captaincy from Sachin Tendulkar. Even though Sachin Tendulkar did the unexpected, even after having 5 stitches on his hand went out and played for Mumbai which was well applauded by all the cricket followers.
Before the match splendid performance by shahid , Bipasha basu and A. R Rahman rocked the Mumbai's stadium and laser shows were like icing on the cake. People like Mukesh Ambani , Dino Morea , Rajiv Shukla and many other prominent personalities were seen enjoying the evening. People away from Mumbai when glued to set max channel to watch live match streaming and of course people who didn't have access to tv sets where glued to YOUTUBE to watch the live streaming of the final match online .
IPL 3 Results are as follows :
- Winning Team : Chennai Super Kings
- Winning Prize Amount : 6 Crores Indian Rupees
- Runner Up Team : Mumbai Indians
- Runner Up Prize Amount : 3 Crores
- Third Position Team : Royal Challengers Bangalore
- Fourth Position Team : Hyderabad's Deccan Chargers
- Final's Man of Match : Suresh Raina
- Batsmen of the IPL 3 - Orange Cap : Sachin Tendulkar
- Bowler of the IPL 3 - Purple Cap: Ojha
- Under 23 Performer of the IPL 3 : Saurabh Tewary
- Golden Player of the IPL 3 : Sachin Tendulkar
- Karbon Kamal Catcher of the IPL 3 : Andrew Symonds
- Fair Play Award : Chennai Super Kings
Another match which is happening outside the cricket ground is of Lalit Modi , BCCI is very keen on making sure that Lalit Modi no longer leads the IPL governing council. Hopefully next person incharge of IPL is not a single individual but 3-5 members who collectively take a decision and a check can be on the all the members of IPL . Watch this space for more updates from IPL.
