In broad day light Akbaruddin Owaisi MLA of Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) was shot with 2 bullets in the Barkas area of Hyderabad near the Marhaba hotel . At the time of incident Malakpet MIM MLA Ahmed Balala and one more corporator was along with him.15 people have been injured in this deadly attack and One person from the Mohammed Pahelwan group has died in the whole incident. on Akbaruddin Owaisi. Mr Akbaruddin Owaisi was on a padayatra in the old city of Hyderabad when he was attacked by Mohammed Pahelwan and his associates with guns and swords in the barkas area of Hyderabad . The reason for the attack is believed to be a land dispute.
Mr Akbaruddin Owaisi reportedly sustained bullet and stab injuries on the abdomen and in the hand.Currently he is undergoing treatment in the ICU of Owaisi Hospital located at Santoshnagar of Hyderabad , entire old city area has been shut down and section 144 has been imposed.
