Most common and the first question which most of the interviewer's of top I.T companies ( MNC's) including the companies in HYDERABAD ask is , " TELL ME SOME THING ABOUT YOURSELF". Well this question is not as simple as it seems to be, its quite tricky and most important its gonna set your first image and that image is gonna last long . Try to give your best ,well I tried to highlight few points which are mandatory while answering this question , which is going to set your image in right direction .
1. Start with your name then qualification right from schooling along with percentages.
2. In the due course of step 1 , make sure you highlight you academic excellence.
3. Then come to your family background.
4. Do not lie or try exaggerate things.
5. keep it short and simple.
6. Do not prolong much on the previous point as the interviewer already must have seen your resume.
7. Try to project some extra circular activities which may generate interest for the interviewer, please avoid cricket ( 95 our of 100 ppl people say about cricket)
8. Show your leadership skills .
9. Look into eyes on the interviewer , make sure you dont stare him , it should be gentle and pleasing .
10. Smile occasionally depending on the situation .

Hyderabad Recruitment Drive
APSCHE-ISM, Career Awareness and Recruitment Drive (CARD) on the 19th and 20th January 2008 at, Osmania University Campus, Hyderabad.
The Career Awareness and Recruitment Drive is an initiative to bring major ITES and IT companies to 2 tier cities. This program is being jointly organized with APSCHE-ISM in collaboration with NASSCOM (National Association of Software Services and Companies). This CARD programme is unique in the state and country. It is for final year students, graduated unemployed (BA, B.Com, B.Sc., B.Ed., BE and B.Tech.) and employed from Osmania University and its affiliated UG and PG colleges in particular, both professional and nonprofessional.
Eligibility : Any final year student, graduate/postgraduate (B.A., B.Com.,
B.Sc., B.C.A., B.E., B.Tech, B.Ed, M.A., M.Com., M.Sc. , M.C.A.
M.E., M.Tech etc) either Employed or Unemployed, from
Osmania University campus, Constituent and its affiliated colleges.
Venue : Tagore Auditorium, Osmania University Campus, Hyderabad
Dates : 19th and 20th January, 2008
Timings : 9:30 am – 7:00 PM on both days
Registration instruction to students:
• Registration starts at 9 am on each of the two days.
• Walk in interviews after paying Rs 10 for the Registration form at the venue
• Fill in the form, detach the original and submit it at the Registration/Help Desk. Maintain the duplicate for personal use to be presented during all interviews at the CARD.
• Application forms will be available at the Tagore Auditorium, Osmania University Campus, Hyderabad, Registration counter on the 19th and 20th of January 2008.
• Students are advised to bring 10 copies of their photographs and 10 copies of
their resume/CV.
• Students are advised to be at the venue by 9 am for Registration. Kindly send all your final year students, recently graduated students and or those who have just done their final year exams to the CARD, programme as this exposure might help them get good jobs at this campus recruitment initiative.
