An aircraft on Indian Navy Sagar Pawan crashed into residential area of Hyderabad on 3 th march 2010 just couple of minutes before the noon. The pilot and co polit of the aircraft lost his life in this accident and the building in the caved. According to latest inputs 7 persons have been injured. A Large smoke cloud was seen from the crash site and anxious crowd was seen standing near the crash spot and taking pictures of the crashed site. Crashed site is said to be a building at Bowenpally near begumpet airport. The indian navy aircraft hit the top floors of the building which resulted huge damage to the building and a car parked outside the building was also damaged. This airport was no longer used daily air traffic and was used only for air shows and VIP's arrivals and departures.
The plane crashed during the formation that was part of the airshow organised at old international airport located at Begumpet area of Hyderabad. Many fire extinguishers were rushed to the spot and the area is currently being cordoned off.
